Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Fixed Term)

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will ensure the reliability and optimal performance of auxiliary plant equipment within a manufacturing environment. This fixed‑term position focuses on extending equipment life, executing maintenance and repairs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on auxiliary machinery and infrastructure to guarantee operational reliability.
• Lead fault interventions and emergency mechanical maintenance as required by the plant.
• Drive improvement projects such as Kaizen, product safety, and occupational health & safety initiatives.
• Monitor, analyse and report on performance indicators and targets related to equipment uptime and maintenance efficiency.
• Identify recurring failures, develop preventive maintenance plans, and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to investment studies for new machinery, equipment upgrades, and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
