Process Development Engineer

About the role

Baymak, a leading Turkish HVAC manufacturer, is seeking a Process Development Engineer to support the installation, commissioning and optimisation of new production lines and projects. The role requires strong communication, strategic thinking and creative problem‑solving to drive efficiency and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Take an active role in the installation, commissioning and optimisation of new production lines and upcoming projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure process readiness, quality and efficiency during production ramp‑up.
• Lead or support improvement and layout planning projects for new or existing production setups.
• Conduct process analysis, labour and material usage assessments, workflow optimisation and time‑and‑method studies.
• Analyse production losses, coordinate corrective actions and apply lean manufacturing principles to increase machine efficiency.
• Create production routings and versions in SAP and support World Class Manufacturing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or related field).
• Minimum 3 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to live in the Asian side of Istanbul or Koçeli (Gebze, Darıca, Çayırova).

Required skills

• SAP modules related to production.
• Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kanban, Six Sigma, PFMEA).
• Data analytics and optimisation project experience.
• Process analysis, labour and material usage assessment, workflow optimisation.
