Procurement Executive – Chemical Raw Materials

About the role

Ertek Chemicals is looking for an experienced Procurement Executive to lead the sourcing of chemical raw materials. The role will develop and execute local and global procurement strategies while working closely with both domestic and international suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to drive margin growth.
• Conduct cost‑optimization projects and evaluate supplier performance.
• Identify and secure alternative sourcing channels for critical materials.
• Oversee order tracking, delivery coordination, and collaboration with Financial Affairs on payment plans.
• Prepare periodic procurement, import, and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, Quality and other cross‑functional teams to align procurement with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the chemical industry.
• Fluent in Turkish and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive and target‑oriented.
• Excellent negotiation and bargaining abilities.

Required skills

• International procurement and import processes.
• Customs legislation and procedures.
• End‑to‑end order management from placement to warehouse entry.
