Procurement Specialist / Assistant Procurement Specialist

About the role

Kazancı Holding is looking for a Procurement Specialist or Assistant Procurement Specialist to support its energy procurement team on domestic and international power plant projects, including assignments in African countries.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out or support technical procurement processes for power plants and energy projects.
• Work with existing suppliers to improve pricing, quality and delivery terms and evaluate alternative suppliers.
• Handle requests for quotations, price comparisons, negotiations, purchase orders and delivery tracking.
• Track procurement expenditure against budgets and contribute to relevant reports.
• Monitor supplier performance and report on pricing, quality, delivery and service criteria.
• Coordinate procurement activities with logistics, foreign trade and accounting teams.
• Undertake project assignments in African countries to support local sourcing and procurement operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical procurement, preferably in the energy sector.
• Good command of English and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Completion of military service for male candidates.

Required skills

• SAP (knowledge is an advantage).
• Proficiency in MS Office.
