Technical Service and Field Application Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Service and Field Application Engineer to install, commission, and maintain process instrumentation and automation systems for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of process instrumentation, automation devices, and systems.
• Design and manufacture customized electrical control panels and create EPLAN project drawings.
• Provide on‑site or remote technical support, diagnose, repair, calibrate equipment, and prepare service reports.
• Deliver training to customer staff on product usage, maintenance, and safety.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs under service contracts.
• Collaborate with sales to propose technical solutions and share field feedback with product and engineering teams.
• Record activities and feedback in CRM tools and generate reports.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation, process instrumentation, or field service.
• Solid knowledge of electronics, automation, and instrumentation.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SCADA and PLC software (Codesys, TIA Portal, WinCC).
• Programming languages: C++, Python, JavaScript.
• Electrical panel design and EPLAN project drawing.
• MS Office applications.
