Robotic Process Automation Developer - Smart Start

About the role

Join Bosch as a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer in the Smart Start program. You will work on digital transformation projects, creating scalable automation solutions that improve efficiency and support data‑driven initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere or KNIME.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise during daily execution of automation workflows.
• Produce and update technical design documents and lifecycle documentation in line with Bosch standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, strategic partners, and development teams to identify suitable intelligent‑automation opportunities.
• Support customers and developers by automating manual, repetitive processes and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Contribute to digital‑transformation initiatives by applying AI/ML concepts and modern AI tools, including LLM‑based solutions, where appropriate.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Available to work at least three days per week during the academic semester.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with RPA tools: UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, KNIME.
• Programming experience with Python, VBA or similar languages.
• Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of ETL processes.
