Sales Associate - Virtual Data Room Solutions

About the role

Sterling Technology, a subsidiary of TransPerfect, provides premium virtual data room (VDR) solutions for secure content sharing, business process automation and collaboration, serving the M&A, corporate development, real estate, capital markets, private capital, banking and legal communities. It is a fast-growing B2B SaaS business with offices in seven major financial centres. The Sales Associate role focuses on strengthening client relationships and developing new accounts across different industries, based in Istanbul with travel within Turkey as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Create approaches to drive new revenue and close new business
• Identify, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities
• Understand the capabilities, benefits and competitive advantages of Sterling's services
• Generate leads through cold calling, internet research, networking events and direct marketing, and build new client relationships
• Educate clients on the company's services and present them in one-on-one, group, online and in-person meetings
• Provide customer support and manage client expectations
• Quote, manage and bill projects daily, coordinating with clients and production teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
• Experience and/or interest in the M&A space
• Proven track record in sales or a client-facing role
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Strong presentation skills, both in person and online
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Turkish
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and organisational skills, able to work in a team
• Preferred: experience or interest in financial, professional, legal or technology services, and in a B2B sales or business development role
