Senior Adobe Commerce Developer

About the role

Proxify is seeking a Senior Adobe Commerce Developer to design and deliver enterprise‑grade e‑commerce solutions for a high‑growth client. The role is fully remote, focused on building scalable, secure, and high‑performance commerce experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) solutions on Cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Lead migration from core overrides to API‑first extensibility using Adobe App Builder.
• Optimize backend performance, SQL queries and caching (Redis, Varnish, Fastly) for high traffic.
• Develop modern front‑ends with Hyvä, PWA Studio or React while maintaining Core Web Vitals.
• Integrate ERP, CRM and PIM systems via Adobe I/O Events and RabbitMQ.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor mid‑level developers and enforce TDD and automated testing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce, including B2B and Cloud editions.
• Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x, MySQL and search technologies such as OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Excellent English (intermediate‑advanced) and ability to work within CET +/- 3 hours.
