Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Grand Tarabya, a 100-year-old hotel managed by Accor in Istanbul, is looking for a Spa Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone of their spa experience through warm, professional service, reservation handling and smooth front-desk operations. The position suits someone with a customer-focused attitude, strong organisational skills and a passion for wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide information on spa services, treatments and wellness programmes.
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out.
• Manage spa appointments and reservations in the booking system, coordinating with therapists and handling changes or cancellations.
• Answer calls, emails and enquiries courteously and efficiently.
• Process payments and manage cash accurately.
• Maintain a tidy reception area, including brochures and promotional materials.
• Address guest requests, concerns and feedback promptly, and promote spa products and upsell treatments or packages where appropriate.
• Help organise special events or promotions and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Follow health and safety and hygiene standards, and keep guest information confidential.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an ultra-luxury hospitality or spa environment.
• Outstanding guest service skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Able to handle many tasks in an intense, changing environment calmly and flexibly regarding working hours.
• Hospitality diploma is an asset.

Required skills

• Computer literacy in Windows and MS Office Suite is recommended.
