Tax Executive (Special Consumption Tax)

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Tax Executive to manage direct and indirect taxation, statutory reporting and compliance processes for a manufacturing business operating under the Special Consumption Tax (SCT) regime.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, verify and submit all statutory tax declarations including VAT, Withholding Tax, Stamp Duty, SCT/ÖTV, GEKAP, Advance Tax and Corporate Tax.
• Manage SCT processes, EMRA (EPDK) permits, sectoral reporting and guarantee letters in line with legislation.
• Oversee foreign trade and incentive procedures, customs closures and government investment incentives.
• Coordinate fixed‑asset tracking, period‑end inventory counts and ensure ERP/SAP compliance with tax parameters.
• Maintain relationships with Tax Offices, Revenue Administration, EMRA, TurkStat, Central Bank and other authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Finance or related field.
• 7–8 years of experience in tax, declaration management and statutory reporting, preferably in a manufacturing environment subject to SCT List 1.
• Advanced knowledge of Turkish tax legislation and hands‑on experience with SCT/ÖTV declarations.
• Intermediate to advanced English for written and verbal communication.
