Transactional Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Transactional Accountant to join the Central Transactional Accounting team within the Finance Services division of the Finance Factory. You will manage a defined scope of accounts, ensure high‑quality accounting operations, and drive digital transformation through AI‑enabled tools and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Record operations and transactions in Accounting Systems in line with local GAAP, IFRS, tax and legal requirements, and clear open‑item balances.
• Perform bank reconciliations, support month‑end close, and assist external audits.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools such as RPA and intelligent document processing to streamline transactional workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities, collaborate with IT and digital teams, and contribute to AI‑driven reconciliation and predictive analytics.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of progressive experience in accounting, including general ledger, AP, reconciliations and month‑end closing.
• Strong analytical mindset, excellent English communication, and ability to work remotely with global teams.
• Experience in insurance, shared services or global business services is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP modules relevant to transactional accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, data analysis).
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled finance tools such as robotic process automation (RPA) and intelligent automation platforms.
