Carpenter – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

As a Carpenter at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center, you will ensure that all wood‑related fixtures, furniture and decorative elements are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry, woodworking, lock, glass, maintenance, repair, and decorative works throughout the hotel.
• Manufacture, install, maintain, and repair wooden fixtures, furniture, doors, cabinets, and other components.
• Complete all assigned Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Maintain workshop equipment, hand tools, and fixed assets in good condition, including regular inventory checks.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and correctly.
• Monitor external contractors for compliance with Hilton standards and health & safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve complaints according to Hilton standards.
• Participate in emergency response teams and attend required training programs.
• Manage ordering, storage, protection, and inventory control of spare parts and consumables.

Required profile

• Vocational High School diploma or Associate Degree in Furniture, Wood Technologies, Carpentry, or related field (preferred).
• MYK Vocational Qualification Certificate (preferred).
• Previous carpentry experience in hotels, shopping malls, hospitals, or other large‑scale facilities.
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Solution‑oriented team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
