Protection Associate – Humanitarian Desk

About the role
The Protection Associate will work on the Humanitarian Protection Desk, providing information, counselling and referrals to migrants and refugees, particularly Syrians under Temporary Protection, in Gaziantep, Turkey.
Key responsibilities
- Support Emergency Case Management, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, and Voluntary Return and Advisory Desk activities.
- Identify and refer individuals with protection needs, including victims of trafficking and survivors of gender‑based violence.
- Coordinate with partners and stakeholders to ensure consistent, quality protection services.
- Contribute to outreach, capacity‑building for staff and partners, and documentation of protection cases.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in humanitarian protection, migration, or related fields.
- Understanding of protection principles and referral mechanisms.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and handle sensitive cases.
