Software Engineer – Capital Markets Application Development

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain Java‑based microservices and Oracle PL/SQL components for capital‑markets and brokerage applications. The role sits within Yapı Kredi Technology’s fintech team and works closely with business, trading and operations stakeholders to deliver high‑performance, low‑latency solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java microservices and enterprise‑grade backend applications.
• Write and optimise Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers and complex SQL queries.
• Participate in system integration, performance optimisation, troubleshooting and production support.
• Contribute to modernising legacy Oracle applications and migrating them to microservices architectures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience, preferably in a financial‑technology or brokerage environment.
• Strong knowledge of Java development, Microservices architecture and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Understanding of enterprise software architecture, API design and system integration.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced capital‑markets environment and read/write English.
