Software Engineer – Data Governance

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in Data Governance to design, develop and maintain solutions that support metadata management, data quality and data lifecycle processes for our finance‑technology platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software components for metadata, data quality and data lifecycle management.
• Build user‑friendly graphical interfaces to visualize enterprise data and quality metrics.
• Design, implement and oversee data‑quality‑focused data‑marts and ensure their architectural integrity.
• Collaborate closely with data governance, infrastructure, architecture and development teams while adhering to SDLC standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• At least 2 years of experience in enterprise software development.
• Strong command of English.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Data visualization tools: Microsoft Power BI and Business Objects.
• Data modeling and data integration/ingestion tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and IBM DataStage.
• Advanced SQL, performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience with relational databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of data quality management, profiling, governance, privacy and cleansing techniques.
