Account Manager – International Telecom

About the role

Devotel, a leading provider of wholesale voice and SMS solutions, is looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join its international Sales Department. The role focuses on managing existing telecom operator accounts, driving growth, and supporting new business development across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow existing accounts, building long‑term strategic partnerships.
• Serve as the primary commercial contact for international clients via email and virtual meetings.
• Handle operational or commercial escalations, using negotiation and crisis‑management skills to protect client relationships.
• Prepare commercial proposals, draft agreements, and analyse sales metrics to meet strategic objectives.
• Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and lead introductory business‑development meetings.
• Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure end‑to‑end service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of commercial activities, account health, and pipeline in the corporate CRM.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid understanding of numbers, margins and commercial dynamics.
• Ability to evaluate complex problems quickly and make logical decisions.
• Proactive, confident communication style and ability to build professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation and situational awareness, capable of managing difficult conversations.
• Genuine eagerness to learn and develop a career in the international telecommunications industry.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
