Architectural Design Coordinator – European Projects

About the role

The Architectural Design Coordinator will work within a global logistics leader’s in‑house design organisation, shaping the standardised building solutions used across hundreds of European facilities. Reporting to the Senior Design Program Manager, you will operate in a fully integrated BIM environment to ensure design consistency and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development, documentation and continuous improvement of building design standards for yards, offices, welfare blocks, ancillaries and warehouse facilities.
• Maintain and organise the technical drawing repository and typical drawings within a BIM workflow.
• Manage Design Change Requests (DCRs) and Design Change Instructions (DCIs) in line with established protocols.
• Ensure design documentation remains accurate, consistent and aligned across internal stakeholders and external design consultants.
• Support document‑control processes for technical design deliverables and prototype development of standardised building solutions.
• Facilitate alignment between architecture, engineering and project teams throughout the design lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Fluency in professional English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design, construction or design coordination.
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex design drawings and assess downstream implications of design changes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM environments.
