Associate Manager Finance

About the role

Mattel is seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join its Pan‑EMEA organization in Turkey. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager PEM, you will act as a key business partner for the local Market Action Team, driving top‑line growth, profitability and financial discipline in a challenging macro‑economic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the country P&L and working capital, taking decisive actions to mitigate inflation and FX volatility.
• Partner with the marketing team to set brand profitability targets, support forecasting cycles, analyse pricing and A&P spend versus budget.
• Support sales by budgeting and tracking customer trade terms, negotiating trade agreements and managing credit risk to optimise cash flow.
• Participate in monthly consensus meetings, manage inventory levels, and coordinate markdown actions with the sales team.
• Prepare the annual financial plan, quarterly forecast updates and lead month‑end/quarter‑end closing activities.
• Drive SG&A and zero‑based budgeting processes, ensuring compliance with corporate plans.
• Produce monthly management reports comparing actual performance to plan and forecast.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of commercial finance experience, preferably within a multinational consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong business‑partnering capabilities with senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage P&L, working capital and cash‑flow under volatile economic conditions.
