Tax Supervisor

About the role

At PepsiCo, the Tax Supervisor will lead the tax compliance function for the Turkish entity, ensuring accurate and timely filing of statutory returns and alignment with both local GAAP and US GAAP. The role supports the broader finance team by providing tax expertise that drives compliance, risk mitigation, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, excise, and withholding filings.
• Oversee tax accounting and reporting under Turkish GAAP and US GAAP, handling deferred tax, FIN48 positions, and hyperinflation accounting.
• Coordinate with external consultants and auditors for tax certifications, transfer pricing, and statutory engagements.
• Monitor legislative changes, assess impact, and implement necessary policy updates.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks through internal controls and process reviews.
• Support tax audits, maintain documentation, and liaise with tax authorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of finance experience with strong tax knowledge; SMMM, CPA or ACA certification preferred.
• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or an MBA.
• Excellent command of English and strong analytical, communication, and team‑leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
