Business Controller (Accountant) – Business Process Solutions

About the role

Deloitte's Business Process Solutions team is seeking a Business Controller (Accountant) to support finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record general ledger entries in accordance with the uniform chart of accounts and internal accounting policies.
• Prepare and submit statutory declarations and legal statements to relevant authorities.
• Manage and reconcile customer current account balances, including periodic group reconciliation processes.
• Prepare and file various tax returns, such as VAT, Withholding Tax, Stamp Tax, and Corporate Income Tax.
• Prepare group reporting files in line with company and group requirements.
• Monitor compliance with local accounting standards, tax legislation, and reporting standards such as IFRS/US GAAP.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing processes to deliver accurate and timely financial statements.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in an outsourcing firm is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
