Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller audits and analyses hotel operational activities, delivering accurate reports and recommendations to safeguard financial integrity and minimise risk. The role ensures pricing, inventory and cost data are up‑to‑date and supports departments with the information needed for efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform spot checks on goods receipt, culinary yield, wastage, housekeeping, laundry, stewarding and bar operations.
• Audit market lists, seasonal items and inventory movements, ensuring accurate recording.
• Create and distribute monthly cost reports and communicate discrepancies to supervisors.
• Verify food recipes, cost and sale prices, and ensure compliance with portion standards.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; university degree is an asset.
• 2+ years experience as a Cost Controller, preferably in a 5‑star hotel chain.
• Fluent oral and written Turkish and English.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and ethical approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with accounting software (preferred).
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and local regulations.
