Customer Service Representative – Europe

About the role

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) Europe will act as the primary liaison between European customers and internal teams of a global chemical company. Based in Istanbul, the CSR will ensure smooth order processing, logistics coordination, and sales support while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to daily customer queries related to order management and supply‑chain execution for European clients.
• Onboard new customers by gathering operational, ordering, and financial information.
• Support the sales team by handling sample requests, purchase orders, inventory checks, and follow‑ups.
• Coordinate customer requests with internal stakeholders, managing order changes, credit blocks, and supply‑chain execution.
• Handle complaints and claims, ensuring timely communication and high‑quality internal responses.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive changes in customer service and supply‑chain processes.

Required profile

• Fluent English with excellent written and spoken communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4–5 years of experience in customer service, order management, logistics, or sales support (chemical or food industry experience is a plus).
• Understanding of INCO‑terms, global ocean logistics and EMEA distribution.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP is advantageous.
