Data Engineer (GCP/BigQuery)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong GCP and BigQuery expertise to lead our data migration initiatives. You will help modernize our data infrastructure by moving on‑premises solutions to the cloud while ensuring data quality and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute migration of on‑premises data to GCP‑based solutions.
• Collaborate with business owners to gather requirements and provide migration status updates.
• Validate migrated data through comprehensive quality checks and issue resolution.
• Design, create, and manage BigQuery datasets, tables, views, and materialized views.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering or data‑warehouse projects.
• Hands‑on experience with GCP services, especially BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Terraform for IaC.
• Strong analytical mindset and systematic problem‑solving approach.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
