Employee Relations Manager

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking an Employee Relations Manager based in Istanbul to strengthen employee relations and ensure organizational compliance. The role acts as a trusted advisor to managers, employees, and third‑party workforce personnel on disciplinary actions, grievances, Code of Conduct concerns, HR investigations, and policy interpretation.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and counsel managers and employees on all employee‑relations matters.
• Support line managers in disciplinary, grievance, absence‑management, and Code of Conduct processes.
• Identify potential employment‑law and policy compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with legal consultants to align policies, systems, and processes with new regulatory requirements.
• Serve as escalation point for formal disciplinary, grievance, and absence‑management cases.
• Manage policy programs in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate Code of Conduct/Values activities and participate in the Control Environment Committee.
• Lead control‑environment initiatives, act as Global Control Standards Lead, and coordinate self‑assessment processes.
• Collaborate with internal audit, supply‑chain HR, and external partners to build strong HR controls and manage third‑party relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of HR experience with strong project‑management exposure.
• HR graduate or master’s degree is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of employment policies and legislation applicable in Turkey.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor and handle complex employee‑relations issues.
