Exterior Trim Design Engineer

About the role

Join TEMSA’s R&D team as an Exterior Trim Design Engineer, developing exterior components for new bus and mid‑bus platforms. You will work closely with design, production, quality and testing teams to bring innovative, ergonomic and aesthetically‑pleasing trim solutions to market.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop exterior trim parts according to ergonomic, aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Create 3D models and 2D technical drawings in a CAD environment.
• Perform material selection, GD&T and tolerance analyses for plastics, glass, metal and composites.
• Prepare DFMEA, DVP, TTK, test procedures and technical specifications.
• Coordinate part development with domestic and foreign suppliers, manage prototypes, testing and validation.
• Track cost, weight and schedule against program objectives.
• Provide technical support during mass‑production launch.

Required profile

• Graduate in Mechanical, Automotive or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in exterior trim development for automotive OEM or Tier‑1 projects.
• Experience with electric and internal‑combustion‑engine commercial vehicle platforms.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Adana.
