Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

Flender’s Wind Business in Adana is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to drive commodity strategies, manage supplier lifecycles, and ensure compliance with global procurement processes. You will work closely with internal customers and cross‑functional teams to secure cost‑efficient material supply for our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement commodity strategies to guarantee long‑term, cost‑effective material supply.
• Apply globally defined procurement methods, processes, and IT systems (e.g., Purchase‑to‑Pay, procurement guidelines).
• Prepare and lead negotiations to achieve maximum savings and document results.
• Execute supplier management activities, including qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification.
• Collaborate with internal requisitioners to ensure early involvement and customer care.
• Provide supplier information for projects and conduct project‑specific supplier evaluations.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Controlling, and Logistics to ensure adherence to supply‑chain processes and tools.
• Communicate with Supply Quality Management as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, and purchasing within a global manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering drawings.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel within Turkey.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP procurement modules (e.g., MM).
• Purchasing of casted parts, welded fabrication, and machined components.
• Knowledge of Purchase‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and material specifications.
