Forward Deployed Data Engineer (Integration)

About the role

Hilbert is looking for a Forward Deployed Data Engineer to design and implement data integration bridges for its AI Growth Engine. You will work directly with customers to ingest data into Hilbert’s Clickhouse warehouse or execute native transformations in their own Snowflake or BigQuery environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy hybrid data pipelines using Clickhouse, Dagster, Airbyte, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
• Build semantic translation layers that map custom customer schemas to Hilbert’s AI reasoning engine.
• Collaborate with an AI‑driven Data Discovery Agent to automate data profiling, mapping suggestions, and initial pipeline generation.
• Own the technical lifecycle of new customer integrations, selecting the optimal deployment path (managed Clickhouse vs. warehouse‑native).
• Ensure reasoning consistency across all data sources so AI insights remain accurate.

Required profile

• Comfortable writing high‑performance Clickhouse queries and native Snowpark or BigQuery SQL.
• Proficient in Python for data orchestration and scripting.
• Strong understanding of data semantics and the ability to define business logic for custom datasets.
• Excellent communication skills to earn technical trust with customer data architects quickly.
