Head of Business Development

About the role

Mobven is seeking a senior leader to drive its Business Development pipeline, shape strategic proposals and lead complex client engagements across fintech, retail and e‑commerce sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Business Development pipeline, establishing a strong sales cadence from initial engagement through proposal and closure.
• Frame complex client challenges, translate ambiguous business needs into clear problem statements and compelling solution approaches.
• Own the narrative for strategic proposals, especially greenfield opportunities, and develop high‑quality proposals, executive presentations and pitch decks.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end RFP processes, ensuring commercial, business and technical inputs form a coherent, competitive proposal.
• Define the strategic objective and business narrative of client demos, PoCs and pilot initiatives to demonstrate clear business value.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product, Delivery, Design, Data and AI teams to shape opportunities and develop strong client propositions.
• Work directly with the CEO and executive leadership on strategic growth priorities and key client opportunities.
• Mentor Business Development team members on opportunity strategy, proposal development and deal structuring.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in management consulting, technology consulting, digital advisory, pre‑sales or business development.
• Proven track record leading complex business development, pre‑sales or solutioning processes for large‑scale digital transformation and AI‑related engagements.
• Experience working directly with C‑level executives and senior leadership on both client and internal sides.
• Strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking and hands‑on approach to business development.
