Head - Software (Chapter Lead)

About the role

Beko is looking for a Head - Software (Chapter Lead) to join its Washing Machine Plant Directorate in Manisa, Turkey. The role covers embedded software development for electronic boards, product standards, project planning and the leadership of a software team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for electronic boards according to product needs, or ensure it is done by other internal groups or outsourced firms in line with international and Beko standards.
• Prepare requirement files and specifications for electronic board designs and establish standards.
• Evaluate customer demands and prepare and run annual, monthly and daily design and verification plans so products are delivered on time.
• Ensure domestic and international serial production approvals are completed on time.
• Prepare and report department investment and expense budgets, and keep laboratory stock at optimal levels with accurate accounting records.
• Coordinate the R&D departments of overseas operations and monitor product safety, performance and component failure rate and cost targets.
• Define team objectives, performance standards and development plans, coach team members, check compliance with procedures and represent the organisation internally and externally.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control Engineering or Electrical-Electronics Engineering.
• Advanced level of English.
• Ability to take initiative and knowledge of production processes, production equipment and technical drawing.

Required skills

• Project management and process management.
• FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
• SAP and ERP knowledge.
• Knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials / product tree).
