Heart of House Specialist – Full‑time Utility Cleaner

About the role

As a Heart of House Specialist at JW Marriott Istanbul Marmara Sea, you will support essential hotel operations by ensuring cleanliness across multiple departments such as kitchen, food‑and‑beverage, and laundry. This full‑time, on‑site position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands‑on work and take pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dining ware, linens and other hotel items.
• Operate and maintain cleaning machinery including dishwashers, hand‑wash stations, and laundry washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware, linens and other supplies between hotel areas.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold uniform and appearance standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience or supervisory experience needed.
• Ability to work safely, follow company policies and maintain professional communication.

Required skills

• Basic operation of commercial cleaning equipment (dishwashers, laundry machines).
