Housekeeping Office Coordinator

About the role

The Housekeeping Office Coordinator supports daily housekeeping operations at a luxury hotel, acting as the central point of communication between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. This role ensures rooms are prepared efficiently, discrepancies are resolved quickly, and guest service standards are upheld.

Key responsibilities

• Run sold room reports, verify room status, and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Coordinate room assignments and update status of departing guest rooms.
• Document and resolve discrepancies with the Front Desk.
• Maintain the ‘Do Not Disturb’ list and ensure timely cleaning of vacant dirty rooms.
• Prepare and distribute daily room assignments to housekeeping staff.
• Complete required housekeeping paperwork and adhere to safety policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related housekeeping or hotel operations experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb.
