Junior Legal Counsel – International Consultancy

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Legal Counsel to join our Ankara office and support the International Advisory Services team. This position offers exposure to cross‑border consulting projects and the chance to develop expertise in legal and compliance matters within the financial sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and improve contract negotiation processes, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
• Monitor contract performance, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Develop, implement and maintain legal and compliance policies, including AML, CFT and data‑protection regulations.
• Manage procurement activities from market research and tender preparation to evaluation, negotiation and contract award.
• Support administrative and corporate‑governance functions for the Turkish subsidiary, including statutory filings and corporate records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, preferably from a recognized legal higher‑education program.
• Up to four years of relevant experience in legal, contracting or consulting environments, ideally with international exposure.
• Excellent business/legal English (C1/C2) – written and spoken.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
