Regulatory Analyst

About the role

World Business Lenders (WBL) is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to support regulatory research, change management, licensing, filings, disclosure requirements, examinations, and regulatory reporting. The role ensures a clear inventory of obligations affecting WBL's lending, servicing, and corporate activities and coordinates timely implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Research federal and state regulatory requirements, monitor developments, and prepare summaries with recommended actions.
• Maintain licensing, registration, renewal, filing, and reporting calendars; coordinate applications, renewals, and reports.
• Support regulatory examinations by organizing requests, evidence, drafts, and approvals.
• Assist with regulatory reviews of new products, processes, vendors, and expansion plans, identifying gaps and supporting policy updates.
• Prepare status reports, track deadlines, and maintain audit‑ready records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in law, compliance, finance, business, public policy or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, legal research, licensing, risk, audit, or financial‑services operations.
• Strong organization, writing, documentation, and deadline‑management skills.
• Ability to work remotely across a multinational team while maintaining confidentiality.
