Corporate Governance Team Lead

About the role

World Business Lenders (WBL) is seeking a Corporate Governance Team Lead to own the operating framework for entity management, corporate filings, resolutions, governance records, and intellectual property administration. The role ensures that all governance documentation remains accurate, current, and ready to support business activity and expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of WBL entities, including formations, amendments, mergers, conversions, dissolutions, and withdrawals.
• Maintain authoritative entity records, organizational charts, officer/director information, and good‑standing status.
• Draft and coordinate board, shareholder, and officer resolutions, manage governance calendars, and ensure timely approvals.
• Oversee annual reports, franchise filings, foreign qualifications, and intellectual‑property registrations.
• Build scalable governance policies, prepare dashboards on entity status, and supervise the Corporate Governance Analyst.

Required profile

• Law degree with proof of qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate governance, entity management, or related legal operations.
• Strong project‑management, drafting, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
