Learning & Development Manager – Hotel

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of training initiatives for Fairmont Quasar Istanbul, ensuring they align with the hotel’s strategic objectives and Accor’s corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough learning needs analysis and help shape the Hotel Training Plan before budgeting.
• Implement and facilitate the Training Plan, coordinating both on‑the‑job and off‑the‑job activities.
• Monitor training delivery, ensure timely reporting and maintain 100% compliance with onboarding and mandatory corporate training.
• Coordinate training programs from internal and external providers, leveraging online and e‑learning tools.
• Develop and execute departmental training plans, providing coaching and support to leaders at all levels.
• Manage the Accor HERO Learning Portal, track completions, and generate quarterly performance reports.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of cross‑training initiatives, gather feedback and drive sustainable learning improvements.
• Build relationships with industry associations and external training partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in learning and development, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure impact.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external providers.
