Maintenance and Investments Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance and Investments Engineer oversees the full lifecycle of development projects, from feasibility and financial planning to execution and final delivery. The role combines technical engineering expertise with financial control, contract management and investment performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment planning through financial and strategic analysis to support business growth and profitability.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and investment opportunities, covering technical and financial aspects.
• Prepare and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets in line with business goals and available resources.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis and evaluate ROI, IRR, NPV and payback period for proposed investments.
• Build and maintain financial models for investment decisions, risk assessment and scenario planning.
• Monitor cash flow forecasts and funding requirements, prepare initial cost estimates and detailed project budgets.
• Track spending against approved budgets, recommend corrective actions and identify cost optimisation opportunities without affecting quality, safety or delivery.
• Maintain cost reports and financial dashboards, present findings to stakeholders and senior management, and work with engineering, operations and commercial teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil, construction or mechanical engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project or investment management.
• Strong understanding of project finance, budgeting and cost control.
• Experience with contract management processes.
• Advanced level of English; ability to live in Istanbul or Kocaeli.
