Maintenance Engineer

About the role

ARaymond, a family-run fastening and assembly systems manufacturer founded in Grenoble in 1865, operates in Gebze, Kocaeli since 2005 as a solution partner for OEM and Tier suppliers in the automotive industry. It is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join its team and keep production machines running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up corrective, planned, predictive and preventive maintenance for production machines and equipment, and respond promptly to breakdowns.
• Diagnose failures in electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and implement permanent solutions.
• Analyze faults in PLC and automation systems, adjust them and intervene; knowledge of 3-axis and 5-axis robot programming is required.
• Plan maintenance for building equipment, machinery, assembly machines, fixtures and other equipment according to supplier instructions, keeping records up to date.
• Plan commissioning of injection molding machines, assembly machines and utility systems in coordination with relevant teams.
• Maintain maintenance records and reports, monitor machine downtime and KPIs such as MTTR and MTBF, and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and other departments on continuous improvement to increase machine efficiency.
• Identify critical spare parts needs, assess risks and support inventory tracking.
• Collect technical procurement quotations, prepare documentation, follow up processes and give recommendations.
• Identify improvements in maintenance processes, inform the Maintenance Manager and plan and supervise external supplier activities.
• Carry out all maintenance work in line with occupational health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry; experience in plastic injection molding is an asset.
• Good command of English; native Turkish and a valid work permit for Turkey are required.
• No travel restrictions; residing in or able to relocate to the Gebze, Kocaeli region.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SAP PM.
• Knowledge and experience of TPM and 5S applications.
• Experience in industrial maintenance processes and PLC systems.
