Operations & Logistics Coordinator – Turkey

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and organized Operations & Logistics Coordinator to act as our main point of contact in Turkey. The role involves managing shipping, transportation, and warehousing activities while ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with shipping lines, transport companies, warehouses, customs agents, suppliers and other service providers.
• Coordinate container bookings, transportation, warehousing and cargo‑loading schedules.
• Obtain and organize all necessary documents, invoices, quotations, payment terms, loading details and shipment information.
• Maintain professional communication by email and telephone.
• Travel to warehouses and loading locations in Istanbul, Mersin, İskenderun and other cities as required.
• Attend and supervise container loading operations, checking cargo quantity, condition, packaging, labels and total weight.
• Capture clear photos and videos before, during and after loading.
• Prepare a concise loading report covering process details, cargo, weight, container numbers, documents and personnel involved.
• Immediately report any damage, shortage, delay, leakage or operational problem and follow up until resolution.
• Keep management regularly updated and coordinate all operational matters in Turkey.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Turkish.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, warehousing or export operations is preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination and follow‑up abilities.
• Ability to write clear and professional emails and reports.
• Willingness to travel within Turkey at short notice.
• Reliable, responsible and able to work independently.
• A valid driving licence is preferred.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
