Regional Legal Counsel - Competition Law Compliance

About the role

CCI, a multinational beverage company operating in Turkey, is looking for Regional Legal Counsel(s) to support its competition law compliance framework across sales and distribution operations. The role works in regional offices across Turkey and involves close collaboration with sales teams, dealers and other stakeholders to implement, monitor and enforce competition law commitments and to give practical guidance on competition law matters.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular field audits and compliance reviews at dealers, sales points and operational locations in the assigned regions
• Monitor the implementation of CCI's competition law commitments and compliance requirements locally and nationwide
• Identify competition compliance risks, guide sales teams and dealers and report findings to the Legal team
• Support internal reviews, monitoring and investigations, and prepare audit reports, compliance assessments and updates on field observations and emerging risks
• Deliver competition law and compliance training to sales teams, dealers and other stakeholders when needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B.)
• 1-2 years of experience in competition law, compliance, audit or related fields preferred; candidates with no prior experience but a strong interest in competition law are also encouraged
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a field-based environment
• Strong sense of accountability and commitment to compliance and ethical business practices
• Ability to build relationships with dealers, sales teams and other business stakeholders
• Valid Class B driving licence with active driving experience
• Ability to travel extensively and undertake long-distance travel within Turkey

Required skills

• Ability to quickly adapt to and use different digital tools, systems and reporting platforms
• Competition law knowledge and compliance auditing
