Sales Executive – Catering

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive catering sales for our hotel. You will be the primary point of contact for guests and corporate clients, using proven sales techniques to maximise revenue while maintaining strong guest loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest calls, requests, and problems, ensuring timely resolution.
• Upsell services and promote Marriott Rewards, processing point redemptions and complimentary gifts.
• Manage reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter reservation and rewards data accurately into the hotel’s software system.
• Perform general office duties to support the Sales & Marketing team, including filing, emailing, and faxing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
