Social Media Group Manager

About the role

LC Waikiki is seeking a strategic leader to head its global social media organization. The Social Media Group Manager will shape how the brand engages millions of customers across markets and drive growth through compelling content and community building.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the global social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X and emerging platforms.
• Manage and develop the social media team, setting clear priorities and ensuring high‑quality execution.
• Build annual, seasonal and campaign‑based content plans aligned with brand strategy, product launches and retail moments.
• Establish global content pillars, creative standards, tone of voice and localization principles.
• Lead integrated storytelling for Womenswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Family and Lifestyle categories.
• Develop influencer, creator and community management strategies to boost reach and brand affinity.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Campaign, Retail Marketing and E‑commerce teams on integrated campaigns.
• Monitor performance, audience insights and trends, translating data into actionable improvements.
• Oversee social listening, brand safety, reputation and crisis communication.
• Manage agencies, production partners, budgets and governance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in social media, digital marketing or brand communications, preferably in retail, fashion or e‑commerce.
• Proven experience leading social media teams, agencies and cross‑functional projects.
• Strong strategic, creative and commercial mindset with the ability to translate insights into clear strategies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑market environment and build trusted relationships across cultures.
