Software Engineer (Full-Stack, Equity-Based)

About the role

Dialoq is a fast‑growing startup building visual communication tools that connect brands with customers. As a Software Engineer you will work on both the frontend and backend of the product, shaping core features from day one. The position is initially unpaid and compensated with equity and future revenue share as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using Next.js and/or React Native.
• Build and operate backend services with Express.js, Nest.js, or Go.
• Create, document, and secure RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with designers to turn UI/UX prototypes into functional interfaces.
• Write automated tests, monitor performance, and apply optimisations.
• Manage databases (SQL or NoSQL), design schemas, and write efficient queries.
• Containerise services with Docker and deploy them using cloud platforms (e.g., Vercel, AWS, Render).
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, code reviews, and issue tracking.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps tasks.

Required profile

• University student (any year) or recent graduate.
• Hands‑on experience with real‑world projects using Next.js, React Native, and at least one backend framework (Express.js, Nest.js, or Go).
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, state management, and web/mobile performance.
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases and basic cloud deployment workflows.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems quickly, and adapt to feedback.
