Account Manager – Food Flavors (Istanbul)

About the role

Aromatech, a global leader in food flavorings, is looking for an Account Manager to join its team in Maltepe, Istanbul. The role focuses on developing and managing a portfolio of customers in the flavor and food industry, driving new business opportunities and supporting commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Regularly visit customers to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans for the assigned portfolio.
• Manage customer orders and respond efficiently to inquiries and requests.
• Monitor project requests and ensure timely, effective follow‑up.
• Prepare and present pricing proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Use the company’s ERP system for sales operations.
• Contribute actively to site safety in line with internal policies.
• Participate in business development meetings and support strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales role, preferably within the flavor or food industry.
• Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Highly organized, results‑driven, and able to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
