Accounting Specialist – Invoice & Inventory Control

About the role

Trendyol Finance supports commercial teams by turning financial data into actionable insights, from budgeting to forecasting. As an Accounting Specialist, you will ensure accurate financial operations by managing invoice processes, monitoring operational expenses, overseeing inventory management and keeping accounting records accurate through ERP systems and regular financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Record purchase invoices and verify that unit prices match purchase orders and that invoiced quantities match goods receipt quantities.
• Monitor, record and report operational and personnel expenses in line with internal procedures and policies.
• Check the integration between the ERP system and e-invoicing/e-archiving platforms and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage inventory control, including inventory ageing analysis and regular physical and system-based stock reconciliations.
• Review trial balances for the team's accounts, identify discrepancies and take corrective action.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Management, Business, Economics or another quantitative field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce and retail.
• Knowledge of export and import accounting, and preferably SAP FI and MM modules (basic CO and SD).
• Resides on the Anatolian side of Istanbul.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, with good Excel knowledge.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving and strong written and verbal communication.
