Blockchain Customer Journey Expert

About the role

ING is seeking a Blockchain Customer Journey Expert to shape and deliver next‑generation digital asset payments, tokenized money capabilities, and distributed financial infrastructure solutions. You will own functional delivery of Digital Asset Strategy initiatives, working at the intersection of payments, tokenization, stablecoins, and wholesale banking.

Key responsibilities

• Own functional delivery of digital‑asset payment solutions and define customer journeys, business processes, and functional requirements.
• Support product discovery, prioritisation, and implementation; contribute to stablecoin, tokenised deposit and digital‑asset payment initiatives.
• Collaborate with Wholesale Banking, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Architecture and Engineering to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Prepare functional requirements, process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria; support backlog refinement and testing.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and governance requirements are incorporated into solution design.

Required profile

• 5+ years as Product Manager, Customer Journey Expert, Payment Specialist or Business Analyst in banking, fintech or digital‑assets.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and experience working in Agile organisations.

• Blockchain and distributed ledger fundamentals.
• Stablecoins, tokenised deposits and wholesale CBDC concepts.
• Smart contracts from a business and functional perspective.
• Custody, key management and blockchain analytics ecosystems.
• Tokenisation platforms and digital‑asset operating models.
• Cross‑border payments, correspondent banking, SWIFT and real‑time payment systems.
