Budget Reporting and Control Specialist

About the role

Kolay Gelsin, a cargo-sector company with an innovative business model, is looking for a Budget Reporting and Control Specialist. The role supports financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, working closely with business units and management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of financial models and analyses for new and existing projects
• Assist in evaluating business opportunities and preparing financial assessments for strategic initiatives
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, improvement opportunities and cost optimisation areas
• Support investment, profitability and feasibility analyses with financial reports and recommendations
• Contribute to budget and forecast preparation with business units
• Perform detailed variance analyses against Actual, Forecast, Budget and Previous Year results, with commentary on key drivers
• Prepare monthly management reports in line with group reporting requirements and deadlines
• Support month-end closing and reporting, and prepare ad hoc analyses, reports and presentations for management
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting quality, efficiency and data accuracy

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in budgeting, financial reporting, audit, controlling or FP&A
• Experience in a Big4 audit firm is a strong asset; CPA qualification is an asset
• Good knowledge of Turkish accounting standards, IFRS and financial reporting principles
• Strong analytical skills, communication and collaboration skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent command of English

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with ERP and reporting tools is preferred
