Field Service Technician – After‑Sales

About the role

The Field Service Technician will join Siemens’ Global Customer Care Department, providing after‑sales installation, maintenance and repair of electrical panels and equipment at customer sites worldwide. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands‑on troubleshooting and willingness to travel internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance and repair activities on electrical installations at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions, adjust equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assemble and pre‑assemble components according to technical drawings, part lists and work instructions.
• Check incoming materials and parts, document work and prepare service reports.
• Support shipment of repaired or replaced equipment and communicate updates to supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Associate or Technical High School degree in Mechanics, Electrical Technologies or Mechatronics.
• Solid knowledge of medium and low voltage distribution systems and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good command of English and willingness to travel with a valid driving licence.
• Experience in site installation and commissioning is preferred.
