Process Engineer

About the role

The Process Engineer will design and optimise manufacturing processes for new automotive components, ensuring cost‑effectiveness, quality and efficient workflow on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Identify production needs and design cost‑effective processes for new products.
• Develop and update process documentation, work instructions and standards.
• Ensure product and process quality meets specifications.
• Assist in shop‑floor layout, assembly tooling and workflow optimisation.
• Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives and problem‑solving activities.
• Support machinery/equipment installation and process validation.
• Train production staff on new processes and technologies.
• Analyse production performance and propose efficiency and cost improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in plastic injection and molding in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection technology, failure modes and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with production‑organisation and improvement tools (5S, SMED, Lean) is a plus.
• Technical knowledge of machinery and equipment.
• Good command of verbal and written English.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel domestically and abroad.
