Financial Reporting & Control Manager

About the role

DP World is seeking a Financial Reporting & Control Manager to lead its finance function in Kocaeli, Turkey. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury operations while ensuring compliance with Turkish statutory requirements and international accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and controlling, providing timely and insightful financial information for business decisions.
• Manage annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and financial planning, monitoring performance against targets.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, treasury activities, and financial risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish GAAP, IFRS, DP World policies, and all relevant regulations.
• Act as primary liaison for auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
• Supervise billing processes to guarantee accurate invoicing in line with commercial agreements.
• Continuously improve finance systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Build strong relationships with external stakeholders such as banks and auditors.
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA, CMA, etc.).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial reporting and controlling, including 4‑5 years in an audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP, TFRS, IFRS and Turkish tax legislation.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing finance teams.
• Fluent in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with MS Navision or similar ERP/accounting systems.
