Head of Content and Editorial (Remote, Turkey)

About the role

A partner company is looking for a Head of Content and Editorial to work remotely in Turkey. The role shapes the content strategy and editorial standards of a growing, product-focused technology business, leading a small team of writers and working closely with executive leadership, marketing and product teams. AI-assisted content creation is central to the approach.

Key responsibilities

• Define content strategy: what content to create, who it serves and how it supports business objectives, customer needs and product positioning.
• Set and maintain editorial standards, reviewing content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, engagement and value.
• Edit and rewrite drafts, improving messaging, storytelling and readability.
• Develop and optimise AI-supported content workflows that meet editorial standards.
• Lead a small team of writers, giving editorial guidance, feedback and clear expectations.
• Monitor content performance metrics and use them to guide editorial decisions.
• Test new formats, topics and production methods, and scale what works.
• Collaborate with marketing, product teams and executive leadership, and work independently on editorial decisions.

Required profile

• Experienced editorial leader with a track record of managing small teams of writers and keeping content quality high.
• Outstanding writing, editing and copywriting skills.
• Practical experience using AI tools to create and improve content while preserving accuracy and quality.
• Background in technology, software or SaaS content, able to explain complex products clearly.
• Ability to work with content metrics and make data-informed editorial choices.
• Proactive, independent execution and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
